Morse Measurements seeks a Technical Sales Engineer. This professional will be primarily focused on sales of K&C Test Services to the automotive and racing communities. The successful candidate will communicate the value of K&C measurements and help customers incorporate this information into their programs. Prefer candidates with technical sales experience directed towards professional racing teams. Successful candidates will be self-starters with excellent communication skills and outgoing personalities.
This job encompasses all aspects of sales and marketing including direct contact with potential customers, the generation of promotional materials, newsletters (including email newsletters), web-site content, identifying markets and forming strategic partnerships with related industry suppliers.
You will work in a very small team environment with wide-ranging responsibilities in which your contributions are highly valued and have a direct impact on the success of the enterprise. Additional duties include assistance during test days with vehicle loading, rig operation and data processing.
Requirements:
* Ability to work independently, strong self-motivation skills
* Good interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills
* Detail oriented
* Prefer Bachelor's degree in an engineering field; will consider candidates without a Bachelor's degree who have strong, directly relevant industry experience.
* Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Windows, and basic web design experience. More advanced web design experience a plus.
* Job involves some travel, such as to race events, trade shows, and customer facilities. About 20-30 days per year.
